What is this?

Preventative Care

Despite being the richest country in the world, the US has also become one of the most obese, chronic-illness filled, and unhealthy countries on the planet. Healthcare is broken, and for too long we have counted on a reactive approach to healthcare. More than a decade a go, even our US Congress came to this conclusion! Hence this provision in the ACA (Affordable Care Act) added over a decade ago, incentivizing and subsidizing the preventative healthcare model. 

I already have health insurance, or a supplemental plan

That is no problem. This is a NO NET COST supplemental  healthcare plan, that doesn’t replace any existing benefits you currently have. It’s added to whatever you have, being a hybrid plan that is fully HIPAA, ERISA, and IRS compliant. It is built on top of whatever you already have.

Further, no copay, no cost for telehealth urgent care visits with doctors available in 15 minute increments throughout the day, all day, available 24/7 and 365. It includes health coaching,  biometric screenings, telemedicine including mental health and primary care physicians, and extensive discounts on over 1,000 medications, all of which reduces your employers insurance renewal rates over time. This includes over 1,000 maintenance medications and over 70 acute medications commonly prescribed in the US. All of this no copay, no cost to the employee.

Aside from employees being healthier and happier with greater employee retention, both employees and employees see financial benefits realized immediately. Employees immediately start seeing a small increase in take-home pay, and employers immediately start seeing saving on a per-employee basis to the tune of over $600 per employee, per year (on average).
